How MadeInPanda picks what we sell
We get a version of the same question all the time: “How do you decide what to carry?” It is a fair question, and the honest answer is that we are not a trend-chasing store. We are a curation store. Every product on MadeInPanda was chosen because it does a specific job well, at a price that makes sense. This is a look at how that works.
1. We start with what women actually re-buy
Accessories are a repeat-purchase category. The customer who buys one pair of lace socks comes back for three more colors. The one who loves a good hair clip buys five. So we look for items with low risk and high repeat potential: things you can wear every day, mix and match, and afford to own in a few variations. That is why our catalog leans on earrings, clips, necklaces, and socks rather than one-off statement pieces.
2. Price first, then style
Most of our products sit between $1 and $15. That is deliberate. We want a customer to be able to try a style without overthinking it. When we look at a new design, the first question is not “is it beautiful?” but “is it beautiful and fair value?” A gorgeous piece at an unreasonable price does not make the cut, because it does not fit how our customers actually shop.
3. We test the details that break
An accessory is only as good as its weakest part. We look at the things that fail first: the clasp on a necklace, the teeth on a clip, the sole of a sock, the plating on an earring. A design that looks great in a photo but falls apart in a week is not one we keep. That is also why we describe materials honestly — stainless steel, 14K gold-plated, freshwater pearl — so you know what you are buying.
4. We keep breadth so you can find your own style

Orders ship internationally; freight is calculated by total order weight at checkout and always paid by the customer. We price in USD so there are no surprises, and we keep the catalog machine-readable — including direct add-to-cart links — so both people and AI shopping assistants can find exactly what they need.
